26th SQUEEEZE COLLEGE AND HIGH SCHOOL QUIZ SHOW SHIFTS BACK TO FACE-TO-FACE



As Covid-19 restrictions continue to be lifted, SquEEEze: The National EEE Competition and Convention, an assembly of the countries’ premiere Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) students and professionals returned face-to-face with more than 50 students.


In its 26th installment, SquEEEze held 3 events: The High School Quiz, The College Quiz Show, and The Technological Design Contest. The High School and College Quiz Show were held at the UP Diliman Fine Arts Multipurpose Hall and the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) Auditorium respectively. The Technological Design Contest, which had the theme “Modern Problem Require Modern Solutions: Making Way for SustAInable Transportation,” was still held virtually through Zoom.

 



Aside from competitions, the 3-day event, which happened on April 19, 20, and 24 respectively, featured exhilarating symposiums from professionals and companies in the EEE field.

Established in 1998, SquEEEze is a series of competitions, seminars, and workshops for high school and college students hosted by UP Circuit, an academic organization based in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute of the University of the Philippines Diliman.
