PRESS RELEASE

MARCH 19, 2022

The PUP BroadCircle held a successful online Screening of entries to the 2021 PUP Music Video Festival

Festival attendees often prefer to attend on the ground since they can support their bets all-out. Change of platform or set-up is challenging, but it remains a homage to the broadcasting community of PUP College of Communication to the times of ideals when values and advocacies are what we still uphold.

The successful online Screening of entries to the 2021 PUP Music Video Festival was participated by 13 Production Houses. They were able to showcase their talent to the annual and most anticipated event of the year, the 2021 MUSIC VIDEO FESTIVAL, with the theme "AmBago: Ambag Mo, Para sa Pagbabago."

The Screening was premiered through the organization's official Facebook Page. It started at 6:00 PM, and there are (15,000) estimated number of viewers. Ronjay Mendiola and Czarina Piscasio hosted the event, both Sophomores and members of PUP BroadCircle.

Rubenich Reyes, one of the Project Heads, gave his opening remarks and was followed by the Inspirational Message of Josh Phillip Crisostomo, the President of PUP BroadCircle. Two professors of the participating production houses also gave their message to their students for existing their efforts in conceptualizing and executing original-composed content and educating the youth, particularly first-time voters, about the importance of voting through creative materials. The event ended with the Closing Remarks of the Adviser of PUP BroadCricle, Mr. George Vincent Gamayo.

It's the second time the Screening has been held online since the pandemic started. It's not also possible without the help of the organizations from different universities and groups and, of course, the sponsors and media organizations that also partnered with the PUP BroadCircle. The Clappers or the Awards Night will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, and will be streamed live at the PUP BroadCircle's Facebook page.
