The field of Electronics Engineering is constantly evolving, and electronics engineers must possess a strong foundation in both theoretical concepts and practical applications to stay ahead. This demand makes the Electronics Engineering (ECE) board exam one of the most challenging licensure examinations. Year by year, aspiring engineers undergo rigorous preparation to hone their problem-solving skills and deepen their understanding of core engineering principles.
To assist them, the Institute of Electronics and Communications Engineers of the Philippines, UP Student Chapter (UP IECEP) proudly presents Get Licensed—an event committed to providing future electronics engineers with the tools to reach their full potential.
Get Licensed returns on May 3, 2025, at the UP School of Statistics, featuring two main events: a comprehensive mock board exam in the morning and insightful talks from distinguished industry professionals and board topnotchers in the afternoon.
The mock board exam will provide participants with the avenue to identify their strengths, determine areas for improvement, and familiarize themselves with the questions they might encounter. This activity is designed to help participants build confidence, gain meaningful understanding, and refine their test-taking skills.
Esteemed professionals from the Electronics Engineering industry and the field of research and development will share their valuable expertise and insights through a series of seminar talks. These talks will expose ECE students to the diverse range of career opportunities that await them. Additionally, last year’s topnotchers will lead a podcast-style discussion to offer participants a firsthand look into the board exam experience, share essential tips, and answer participants' burning questions.
