COMELEC: Senior Citizens, PWDs can still register with expired PWD Card

On August 13, Friday, Press Conference via Zoom, COMELEC Spokesperson Atty. James Jimenez on online reactivation of voter’s registration said that the registration is not based on the PWD card. Senior Citizens and PWDs only need to fill-up the Supplementary Data Form to register.

Supplementary Data Form is a checklist that is only to be filled up by PWDs, Senior Citizens, and Indigenous People. It asks what type of Disability a person has, and what type of assistance they need.

“Ang PWD at Senior Citizens na rin, kailangan na lamang na mag fill up ng tinatawag nating Supplementary Data Form. Bale ‘yan yung katumbas sa COMELEC ng information na PWD ka.” He stated.

The Supplementary Data Form will be the COMELEC’s basis of what type of assistance the Senior Citizens and PWD need.

“Kahit naman paso na yung PWD card mo, okay lang ‘yan as long as nakapag submit ka ng aming Supplementary Data Form, may mga checkmark doon kung anong klaseng assistance ang kakailanganin ng mga kapatid nating PWD.” He added.
