The National Collegiate Economics Convention (NCEC) 2021, through the University of Santo Tomas - Faculty of Arts and Letters and the Artlets Economics Society, presents The Great Catch: Unmasking Realities in the West Philippine Sea, a two-day webinar series focusing on the West Philippine Sea as an Exclusive Economic Zone taking place on December 2 and 3, 2021 via Zoom Cyberspace.
The National Collegiate Economics Convention was created for students and professionals from various academic institutions in the country. The NCEC is ready to welcome delegates who wish to have a deeper and broader perspective on different economic and national concerns. This webinar series aims to enlighten the youth about the history of the territorial dispute, the different justifications of countries involved, and the various environmental, social, and economic implications engendered by the conflict in the hopes of deepening our understanding of the economic repercussions of the WPS dispute.
