The Philippine-based Yellow Boat of Hope (YBH) Foundation has won big at the 2024 .ORG Impact Awards. YBH was the winner in the “Quality Education for All” category and also clinched the prestigious title of 2024 .ORG of the Year. The awards ceremony, held on October 8, 2024, at the Spy Museum in Washington, D.C., highlighted YBH’s efforts from among over 1,800 global entries, celebrating its innovative solutions, including providing yellow boats to ensure safe transportation for children who once had to swim to school.
In his speech, Dr. Anton Lim, Co-Founder and President of YBH, emphasized that “sometimes the most complex problems can be solved with a simple solution, such as a yellow boat.”
The .ORG Impact Awards, organized by Public Interest Registry (PIR), the organization behind the .ORG domain, recognizes the profound impact of organizations within the .ORG community from different parts of the world who are making relentless and committed efforts to create an impact in their communities.
